Introduction to Spatial statistics & Statistical Analysis of Leptospirosis incidence data
Abstract
A first part will deal with spatial statistics which have been increasingly used over the past few decades in many fields such as environment, epidemiology or agriculture. The statistical methodology involved is as various as the nature of spatial data can be. A few usual spatial stochastic processes and associated applications will be introduced. A second part will be about the statistical analysis of Leptospirosis incidence data. Leptospirosis is an infectious zoonotic disease. The focus of this analysis is on the risk factors of the disease which, for some of them, are quite spatially correlated.
